As we celebrate 30 years of Progress, our vision remains to ensure everyone has a place to call home and the opportunity to live their best life.

Our annual report brings this vision to life by sharing the experiences of our tenants and customers. It draws on personal experiences to demonstrate how important a home is to each and every one of us. It shows how social housing makes a positive difference to our society, our communities and the lives of people of all ages.

30 years of making a difference

As an organisation, we are committed to our vision of ensuring that everyone has a place to call home and the opportunity to live their best life.

30 years of Progress

In 2024, Progress Housing Group celebrates 30 years since the voluntary transfer of 3,500 homes from South Ribble Borough Council, marking the largest social housing transfer in the Northwest at that time. This pivotal event in 1994 laid the foundation for the thriving communities and high-quality affordable homes that Progress Housing Group provides today.

30 years of building homes and neighbourhoods to be proud of

We are dedicated to positively impacting people’s lives and communities by providing high-quality homes. We build new homes that meet people’s needs and invest in our existing homes and neighbourhoods to ensure they are well-maintained, comfortable, and safe places to live.

30 years of supporting independence

We put our tenants and customers at the heart of everything we do, helping people build better lives, meet their individual needs, and support them to live independently through specialist supported housing, technology-enabled care, and other preventative and critical support services.

30 years of creating opportunities

We provide homes and support independence, but we also create opportunities to help people improve their quality of life. We support personal growth, education, and employment and put tenants at the heart of everything we do.
