Background and experience

David is a qualified chartered accountant and part-qualified treasurer who has worked in finance for over 15 years within professional services, publicly listed commercial real estate and social housing. His roles have included external audit, forensic accounting, treasury, and finance. 

Skills

David's breadth of experience brings a strong commercial focus and business partnering approach, focusing on how finance can add real value to the Group and facilitate strategic decision-making. His specialist experience is spread across purchasing, procurement, accounting, treasury, and tax, with a particular focus on treasury, where he has extensive experience raising new funding and managing cash.

Personal interests

David is a keen hiker and runner. He is also passionate about live sports, watching anything and everything, including football, rugby, cricket and netball.
