Our pay and benefits

Our purpose and culture make working at the Progress Housing Group a truly rewarding experience.

Our benefits package does, too. Depending on your role and where you work, you can expect to be offered the following benefits. With our comprehensive and competitive total rewards package, you get a great deal from the day you join us.

Work-life balance

Depending on your role, we offer achievable work/life balance through various flexible, hybrid and agile working options.

From becoming a new parent or caring for a loved one in their time of need, we have created paid leave options to support you during those really important times.

Leave

We offer a paid holiday entitlement that grows as your career does with 26 days annual leave, increasing to 31 after five years and 33 days after ten years

We also offer a paid day off for your birthday, and the option to buy or sell for up to five days' leave to suit your needs and circumstances.

Pay

We offer competitive salaries and annual benchmarking. Our defined contribution pension scheme matches contributions to up to 7.5% via salary exchange (making pension contributions more efficient by reducing the amount of National Insurance paid)

We also offer Financial Recognition Awards for exceptional performance.

Workspaces

Our contemporary and accessible workspaces offer breakout and social areas, good public transport links and secure storage for cyclists, quiet rooms for meditation or prayer, on-site shower facilities, and lockers. Great tech enables anytime, anywhere working.

We also offer a green car scheme and cycle-to-work scheme.

Learning and development

We are invested in your continuous personal and professional development to help you get where you want to be whether this is on-the-job and formal training, shadowing, coaching and mentoring, apprenticeships or support to achieve professional qualifications.

Support and wellbeing

We have health and well-being initiatives to support our people. As well as occupational sick pay and Policies to support work-life balance, our Employee Assistance Programme offers counselling, and legal and financial information services.

Our well-being champions and inclusion networks help coordinate a wide range of activities, events and promotions.

Give something back

Every year, our colleagues can take paid time to volunteer, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with fundraisers, awareness campaigns, and social value projects and initiatives.

Perks

Our Medicash membership scheme helps with everyday healthcare costs and with Medicash Extras, you can also access offers, discounts and reloadable payment cards from entertainment, sports, retail and dining partners.

Famously proud to be Progress
