Background and experience
Nigel’s first housing role with a development and property asset focus was at Notting Hill Housing Trust in the early 90s - prior to its merger with Genesis, supporting people seeking good quality affordable housing in less affluent neighbourhoods of west London.
Nigel has worked in executive and non-executive roles for small, regional and national socially and commercially (not mutually exclusive) focused businesses, including MTVH, on its main Board and Board Member representative at its Property Services and separate Development Committees. At North Devon Homes - a rural community-based housing charity, Nigel is a Company Director of Anchorwood - a commercial housing subsidiary - who gifts its profits back and at Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council as its Head of Housing Delivery, leading a five-year 1,000+ new build housing programme across 30+ sites.
Nigel holds an MSC in Construction Management and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
