Andy Speer

Responsibilities

Andy's responsibilities cover financial services, digital services, business assurance, audit and risk, health and safety and Progress Living (keyworker accommodation based in Lincolnshire). Our property company, Concert Homes, also comes under Andy's remit.

His role provides leadership direction, developing the corporate services functions to directly support the strategic objectives of the Group and building a stronger organisation.

Andy continues to steer the organisation's strong financial performance, which has seen the Group's financial strength steadily grow.

Background and experience

Andy has worked in finance and accounting roles for over 30 years. He has in-depth knowledge of the housing sector at a local, regional and national level.

Skills

Andy has an MBA, BA (Hons) in Accounting, and ACMA qualifications.

Andy has a wealth of finance and business experience, including having previously served on the National Housing Federation SORP Working Party, and has had extensive involvement in group combinations and mergers and establishing joint venture companies as part of Private Finance Initiatives (PFI). The Group manages a large portfolio of properties following a successful housing PFI in Leeds (LiLAC - supported living accommodation commissioned by Leeds City Council) and a Public Private Partnership accommodation scheme in Lincolnshire (Progress Living - keyworker accommodation for United Lincolnshire NHS Hospitals Trust). 

Andy is a Director of LiLAC Holdings Limited.

Andy is a keen cyclist and runner.
