Annette Stevens

Background and experience

Annette is a housing professional with over 20 years of experience. Before working for the Group, Annette worked for a local authority as a senior neighbourhood manager. This role involved managing a neighbourhood partnership board overseeing community led neighbourhood improvements. This gave Annette a real passion for community engagement, particularly how good housing contributes to health and wellbeing.

Annette has also worked as a development officer for a community law centre. This involved raising awareness of human rights and promoting access to social welfare law advice in housing, employment, and welfare benefit matters.

Annette oversees the housing operations teams delivering supported living accommodation across the country. 

Skills

Annette is a specialist in delivering supported living accommodation, working with commissioners and support providers to ensure the best outcomes for tenants. Annette is passionate about engaging tenants in supported living and ensuring the tenant's voice is at the heart of everything we do. Annette is also the adult safeguarding lead for Progress Housing Group.

Personal interests

Annette enjoys live music, reading and spending time with her family.
