Background and experience

Daniel is a qualified building surveyor with a postgraduate qualification in urban renewal. He has worked in social housing development for 25 years for several leading development associations. During his career, he has overseen significant delivery of social rent, Affordable Rent, shared ownership, supported housing, shared equity, market rent, and market sale homes across new build, refurbishment, and large-scale regeneration schemes.

Skills

Daniel builds strong, productive, beneficial relationships with key delivery partners to facilitate the successful delivery of corporate strategy by providing quality new homes. This is built upon blending commercial awareness against value for money and maximising social value outputs. His effective leadership of the widely skilled and experienced Development Team at Progress Housing Group is key to this. 

Personal interests

Daniel often spends his spare time undertaking personal residential refurbishment projects and is passionate about design in the built environment. He loves watching all sports, with particular interest in rugby league and football, regularly attending St Helens and Everton games with his family.
