Nicola Byrne

Background and Experience

Nicola is an experienced housing professional with nearly 20 years working in the housing sector, specialising in Supported Living.  Nicola started her career in Housing Management before moving into Development.  She has overseen delivery of Affordable Rent, shared ownership, supported living and Home Ownership for People with Long Term Disabilities (HOLD) schemes through a range of delivery routes including new build development, property refurbishment and lease arrangements.

As Director of Growth and Partnerships for RWP, Nicola is responsible for the supported living development strategy and oversees the Development and Leasehold teams in the delivery and ongoing management of supported living accommodation across the country.  She also leads on strategic and operational management of partnerships across RWP’s existing portfolio.

Skills

Nicola has a BSc (Hons) in Housing Practice and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIHCM).

Personal Interests

Nicola enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking her dog, reading, and fundraising.  Nicola also volunteers at her local hospice.
